Description

Lustrous white brucite crystals with evident hexagonal morphology and pearlescent lustre, that are stacked in thick aggregates. The given locality is Satka (Kazakhstan), but the Satka magnesite deposit is in Russia, located very close to the border with Kazakhstan. This is a very decent sample, representative of the species and locality.

Acquired in 2002 to Stenelux by Wilfred Moorer (1945-2015) #1876.
