Description

Gemmy, deep red to orange trapezohedral crystals of almandine of superb vitreous lustre, on a cluster of quartz crystals, some doubly ended, on matrix. Rare material from the Montnegre-Montseny mountain, a classic Spanish locality but scarcely represented in collections because these pieces usually are retained by local collectors. This one was found by Mr. J.Misser in 2010. In perfect condition, just with minor erosions.
