Description

Rare pentagonododecahedral pyrite fully replaced by goethite, nicely perched on a quartz drusy. Lustrous crystal, very well formed.

Pyrite from this locale is a rather connoisseur specimen. This one is at least 10 years old, and it is possibly the best in my Greek suite.
