Description

Piece of the abandoned quarry "pagani", with crystals of "ottrélite" on matrix, colored between greenish and dark gray, high hardness (6-7 on the Mohs scale), monoclinic, triclinic, and prismatic crystalline system, normally these crystals appear inside cavities of low and medium grade metamorphic rocks, usually Mn-rich silicates, with a vitreous luster near Adamantine, are translucent and their matrix is a granular or scaly pseudohexagonal matrix; The impurities that they usually carry are iron, magnesium and calcium. A rare piece difficult to find, valued by collectors.
