Description

A very rare locality and an unusual combination. Atop a white calcite with some dark red zones and satin lustre (~3cm across), on the left side a glossy adularia (about 2,5cm across). Between tiny hematite. The matrix is green shists.

The specimen was mined above the Pasterze Glacier, near to the summit (3798m above sea level) on Austria´s highest mountain.

No damage and beautiful assemble.
