This is a crystal group of fluorites. The piece comes from the Uranus mine near Annaberg Buchholz in Saxony. The fluorite is multicolored. The fluorites are yellow at the core and violet at the edges. The fluorite was partially dissolved during its formation and was later recrystallized. The surface of the crystals look as if they have been covered with hoarfrost. A very interesting piece. There are a few barite crystals on top of the fluorite crystals.
