Description

The specimen has a neat little cluster of intergrown cubic crystals of bi-coloured purple and green fluorite attached to a piece of orthoclase. The neat formation is made up of fourteen cubic crystals of fluorite. Up one side six cubes in sub-parallel alignment step up from the side of the matrix onto the top of the matrix. this is a very pleasing natural arrangement of form elements. The bi-coloured fluorite has deep purple with rich sea green colour offset by the off-white ivory colour of the orthoclase.
