Description

"Derriksite is the rarest of the uranyl-selenites found in Musonoi" so the authors (P.D.Ginderow & F.Cesborn, Acta Cryst.1983) begin the description of the structure of this rare mineral found only in two locations in the world (the second location is Zalesii, Czech Rep.) In this beautiful specimen, a large quantity of sharp and shiny, dark green, single crystals and crystals clusters, scattered on a vug of the sample are clearly visible. An excellent and quite rich sample of this rare mineral!
