Description

Lavrentievite  is one of the rarest mercury minerals known, with only two very close known localities worldwide. It occurs in this specimen as yellowish aggregates associated to minoritary massive cinnabar.
In addition, it is a bromine containing mineral, only 17 of 5000 minerals known are Br-minerals (from MINDAT) !. Analyzed specimen by the supplier.
