Exceptional and very rich sample of the extremely rare iodine mineral demicheleite-(I) (IMA2009-049) in well formed black prismatic crystals associated to white adranosite. The mineral has an unusual chemistry, as it is a bismuth sulphide iodide (BiSI).

From 6017 minerals known only 32 have iodine in its composition, and this is one of them! (source Mindat). The mineral is much rarer than demicheleite-(Br) and demicheleite-(Cl) .
