The Hallstatt salt-mine is the worlds oldes salz mine where man used to dig for about 7.000 years - and it is still productive. But in our days not many specimens were found. This one is quite rare because anhydrite was'nt found very often. It shows 2 beautiful terminated, lustrous crystals with some gypsum at the base. Both minerals are situated on the typical matrix called "Haselgebirge". Rare and classic stuff in very good condition. No damage.
