Seller's terms and conditions

The seller accepts no liability for mishandling of mineral samples or damage during shipment. We do ship them as safely and securely as humanly possible and have much experience doing so. Accidents do happen. For extra delicate and expensive specimens, we provide and recommend the option for an increased insurance level on the shipping whenever possible to cover any damages. We do not accept returns. Be certain you want the specimen you are bidding on. We take as many pictures as possible and include accurate measurements, weight, and descriptions. We are a very small family business so we simply cannot absorb the loss of time and money that it takes to process a return. If something breaks during shipment, it is the buyers responsibility to file a claim with the shipping company. We take pictures of everything we send and the condition it is in. If a specimen arrives broken, take many pictures and have proof of the amount paid to seek reimbursement from shipping company. If there is a question regarding these policies or about a mineral sample, we are open to all communication and will usually respond within 24 hours whenever possible. Readings for Radioactive Minerals are taken with a Radiacode 103 scintillator device to read the highest area of activity on a certain specimen, This can vary greatly with other instruments. UV minerals are pictures with a 365 nm UV light. Regular pictures are under white led lights.
