Description

Perfect hexagonal polychrome fluorapatite crystals, nicely grown on matrix. Good lustre and locally gemmy, with purple core and pink-orange rim proceeding outwards. No visible dings or contacts on the main crystals.

A rich specimen of excellent quality from a classic, now defunct locale. Very hard to get ahold of. Former collection Eiker, for years the mine geologist at Foote.
