Description

A pleasing specimen of diopside with small vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The tabular diopside crystals are sharp, colorless to amber. They are transparent and strongly lustrous. Small vesuvianite crystals with purple color are seen too. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In good condition – some contacts. On acrylic base.
