Description

This is a calcite specimen from a single find, back in 2006, where only a handful of pieces where found. The exact location at the Bou Azzer district was not revealed but presumably is from the Bou Azzer mine. Characteristic of this find are the sharp dark orange to red rhombohedra phantoms, with external faces of steep rhombohedra, ended by flatten rhombohedra. Luster and transparency are good and are partially spotted by small white frost-like calcite. It shows nice fluorescence under long and short UV light.
