Description

Elegant piece of glassy, rounded, carmine-red eudialyte crystals with prismatic black aegirine, brown lamprophyllite and grey feldspar (or nepheline) matrix. It is polished at the front and raw at the rear. Good representative specimen and of good size that is possibly from the Kirovskii apatite mine at the Mount Kukisvumchorr, at the Khibiny Massif.

Acquired in 22/06/2012 to Alexander Zuev. Ex Gustaaf #1693, with his handwritten label.
