Description

Very rich and aesthetic laminated aerinite of an intense blue colour and waxy lustre, richly covering different surfaces of an undulating rock, probably originated in a fault plane. This specimen is from a not well-known outcrop at Bou Skour district.

Acquired in 04/1975 as “azurite” at the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass by Mr. Gustaaf, specimen #359, with his handwritten label. Rare Moroccan specimen in collections.
