Description

Classic cluster of curved, saddle-shaped dolomite crystals that are completely replaced by thick botryoidal smithsonite. This so called "turkey fat" from Rush is a fine and rich representative specimen of pseudomorph and locality. The crystals are very aerial, coming off the matrix, with some attractive hollow cores, visible in a couple of crystals at the rear. Some fluorescence under UV light. No damages.
