Description

Here we have a very interesting Fluorite from Nigeria. The stone was found near Wukarie in the state of Taraba. The fluorite has beautiful cube-shaped crystals, is lightly studded with pyrite and has many small quartz crystals on one side. This combination of different minerals gives the piece a unique look. The fluorite has a beautiful blue color when illuminated by sunlight. Under artificial light, the fluorite shows its color-changing property and turns a dark green color. If the fluorite is illuminated with UV light, the stone shows a beautiful dark blue to violet shimmer.
