Description

Here we have a very stunning slice of galena and sphalerite of the variety called Strickblende from the famous Schmalgraf mine in Kelmis near Aachen, Belgium.
Size: 13.5 x 9.5 x 1 cm

It has an excellently shaped, typically cubic structure and is highly polished on one side - TOP!

This rare specimen dates from the period of active mining, which ended in 1932, and such pieces are rarely available on the market today.
