A very old specimen from Dr. August Krantz - mid to late of 19th century: 

A black well developed (backside has contacts/broken from detachment) tourmaline on a quartz / feldspar matrix. The tourmaline is to be assigned to be uvite according to the mindat entry. A fine and rare specimen with pedigree. US classic.
