5.2 × 3.8 × 1.1 cm
Description

Rare material from the type locality: Xonotlite (german Xonaltit), also called Calcium-Pectolite is a rare silicate first described from Tetela de Xonotla, Puebla, Mexico. This specimen (if fact 2 specimens) exhibit a greenish-brownish mass of fibrous mineral (this should be the xonotlite, but it could also be the white stuff), covered with tan whiteish material which could be bustamite and a white mineral at the outer rim (maybe that is the xonotlite - i did not have the time to get this analyzed). Comes with an old Dr. August Krantz, Bonn label, thus the specimen dates between 1850 and 1888. Size given for the larger sample.
