We all know these famous pseudomorph samples of hematite after magnetite from the locality - most times they form elongated crystals with rectangular shape with octahedral termination and elaborate hoppered growth. But this piece is is exceptional - sharp regular octahedrons are much more rare than the common material - and this particular piece is not only an interesting and rare sample - it is well formed and aesthetic. No significant damages to report.
