Class:
Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
7.2 × 5.6 × 4.7 cm
Description

I think this is the most prominent locality for translucent Sphalerite! This specimen shows a group of sharp, stepped and very glossy crystals, which show a really good contrast to partly snowy white matrix. The crystals are exposed - you can see this on my second photo when I returned the piece to the side. The third photo shows the piece in front-display without backlight, the second shot was in side-position with backlight and the first again front-position, but this time with backlight. There are no significant damages to report.
