Description Tabs

Crystals on Matrix
Size Range:
Small cabinet (7-10 cm)
Size:
8.2 × 6.5 × 5.5 cm
Description

The mining area in non-productive and it is prohibited to dig there. The locality produced the very best strontianite specimen in the world! While usually this mineral only forms dull white and most time micro-crystals, Oberdorf produced large crystals in fine orange to reddish color. But even for Oberdorf this is a fantastic specimen - the crystals formed huge crystals with spectacular end-points, which consits of uncountable stepped faces. The contrast to sparkling, snowy white matrix is really wonderful. Looks great in several positions, no significant damages to report.
