Description

Amazing Austrian classic! Alpine amethyste is generally very rare, but in this color and saturation it is absolutely exceptional. Usually most specimen came from Saurüssel locality, only a very small area on Mörchner Kar ever produced this color. The specimen is developed as floater, lower backside was contacted but the specimen is even double terminated and shows sharp end-points at the base. Should be high valued for the wonderful color and the rare alpine locality.
