Locality:
Moscona Mine, Solis, Asturias, Spain
Class:
Combination
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)

6.6 × 4.9 × 2.8 cm
Description

The fluorite crystals from this locality are usually yellow, in this case tehy are darker and nearly honey-like colored. The calcite crystals are all sharp terminated and very glossy. The contrast of snowy white calcite and nearly orange fluorite is really very attractive. In the center of the specimen the fluorite crystals are covered with tiny pyrite crystals. They show a colorful, irisdiscent layer. A great combination of colors and minerals in fine condition damage-wise.
