Description

This slab is Rhexoxylon Africanum. The locality produced a lot of quantity, so I selected only the best and most rare material. From all species we know from there Rhexoxylon Africanum is the most rare one. And out of this small quantity this brench stands out because of contrast and saturation. The contrast of reddish and pale blue color is wonderful and very rare. I saw some other Rhexoxylon samples – also rare, but not nearly this color and contrast. The backside is the end-point of the brench - this is a very important indicator for petrified wood generally. Size, color and contrast are as good as it ever could be. Well cut and polished.
