Fluorite & Arsenopyrite

Description Tabs

Description
Locality:
Huanggang Mine, Hexigten Banner, Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia, China (Peoples Republic)
Size Range:
Miniature (4.5-7 cm)
Size:
6.8 × 6.1 × 4.8 cm
Description

Sharp terminated octahedrons (up to 24mm on edges) showing light pink colour. The are attractively set on well crystallized, lustrous arsenopyrite. Both crystals are freestanding and exposed. This material came for a short while, not too much quantity and hard to obtain with this perfect aesthetic. When you see specimen which look more colourful or more glossy and clear - that is not better quality, just oiled (this one is not!). I had this specimen in my personal collection and bought in 2012 from the well kwon fluorite collector Robert Brandstetter, who also hold it in his collection (acquired Tucson 2011). Will come with both labels.
