Description

This is a very uncommon specimen from a quite new find in Chichibu mining district, Nakatsugawa, Ohtaki-mura, Chichibu City, Saitama, Japan: Gold wires are attached to loose grains of crystalline black sphalerite.
Gold from Japan is very scarce on the markets in general, and although this specimen is quite small, it is very sculptural and showy.
