Description

Specimen consisting of masses of white beryllonite and violet fluorite.

From the collection of Prof. Dr. Kurt Rossmanith, Vienna, Austria which was built up from the late 1950's to modern times.

Beryllonite is not described from Ermakovskoe Deposit so far, but it is a Be deposit and beryllonite is plausible. In addition, a fluorite collector friend of mine has a very similar piece from the same location but from a different source in his collection. Rara stuff!
