Description

A very nice calcite from this relatively unknown quarry close to Adelaide. It features cream coloured rhombs of lustrous calcite crystals up to 9mm, with some twinning evident, on a calcite matrix.

There are also many light brown pencil shaped calcite micro crystals growing between the rhombs which adds some further interest. This is probably the best specimen I have ever seen from this locality.
