Description

Rare Calcium-Aluminium- Hydroxylcarbonate mineral kochsándorite forms white, radiating  aggregates in coal bearing marl matrix in beige massive böhmite. Type and only locality specimen

The mineral was discovered in 2004 and this is the only known locality so far. In 2005 the mine was closed, the dumps were recultivated, so no chance to find any new pieces.
