Description

Fossil Jurassic crinoid stems and parts of ammonite and bivalve shells replaced by golden-brassy pyrite. I count 16 complete cross sections of crinoid stenms plus several partly preserved ones, a partly preserved ammonite shell and some unidetified pyritized material. As usual for fossils the plate has been varnished to preserve the material. One of the most attractive of my specimen from the new find of those pyritized fossils, very beautiful and decorative.

The core of the somewhat bulky plate is pyrite too (stable) and might be fossil driftwood, which is very common at the locality.
