Description

Fantastic new material from a country almost overseen by collectors and dealers. I think this is the first specimen from Laos offered at e-rocks . And it's a very special one. First we have dark blue, highly lustrous and partly translucent, almost transparent (!) azurite crystals. Then we have azurite crystals, in parts replaced by malachite (don't mix up with malachite shining through the translucent azurite!). Last but not least there are fibrous masses of malachite glueing the crystals together. This is the biggest and best specimen of a handful of pieces I got.
