Description

This extraordinary piece comes from a find from the Bergmännisch Glück Mine (2020). The fluorite catches the eye with its intense iridescent chalcopyrite. The colors go from golden yellow to purple and blue. The fluorite - on which the chalcopyrite are - shows silky, shiny, slightly etched faces with a reddish gray to silver color. This dark gray color with the silver areas is stunning in combination with the chalcopyrite. With backlit, the fluorite shows a light dusky pink to yellow color with light violet zones on the edges. The fluorite is healed and finely crystallized on the back. So the piece detached itself from the rock very early and has enough time to crystallize as a floater specimen. Truly an extraordinary and enchanting piece.
