This eye-catching specimen comes from Brixlegg, a location known for its silver and copper minerals such as azurite and malachite. It is a particularly striking piece with deep blue, highly lustrous azurite crystals. This specimen comes from an old collection acquired by the collector in 1969. The collection itself was established in 1860 and sold in 1969. The collection label from the second collector (Albert Strasser), indicating the locality as "Kogl near Schwaz, Tyrol," is included.
