Description

Fine specimen richly decorated with fine crystallized yellow-brown karphosiderite, an old name for hydroniumjarosite. It cannot be ruled out that this is just jarosite or a mixture of both minerals.

It comes with a beautiful historical label of the Royal Saxon (K.S.) mineral deposit in Freiberg, Germany. The label can be assigned to the period of 1880-1920.
