Description

Lustrous black tourmaline crystals in quartz matrix from the well known Power's Farm locality. Some crystals are incomplete or show some damage. Many of these were originally identified as uvite, but more current research has determined that dravite is predominant there. There is a discussion on Mindat about this change. The previous label with the specimen indicates uvite but uploaded as dravite due to the research results.
