Dr Peter Smith is a Chartered Geologist with over 30 years of experience in earth and environmental sciences. He has a PhD in Geology from Imperial College and a mining degree from Camborne School of Mines. His career includes work in oil companies and universities in the UK and Australia, as well as worldwide exploration projects. He also has experience in using GIS for project management. The collection mainly includes minerals from Broken Hill and other Australian locations. Dr Smith lives in Arundel, West Sussex, UK.
