A crystal cleavage of lustrous black-green magnesio-hastingsite.

Recent analyses (by Joy Desor) confirmed this old material as

magnesio-hastingsite.

The specimen was found during the third German Antarctica expedition.

Ex collection Dipl.Min. Ulrich Vetter, Hannover - mineralogist of this
