Description

The specimen has a deposit of brightly coloured dioptase on white calcite. There is a more or less equal spread of dioptase crystals across the face of the stone with the largest crystal to 0.5cm. The crystals have good colour with a slight hint towards blue. The colour is not the richest value associated with the locality but none the less it is still richly colourful. The colour impact is enhanced by the immediate contrast against the bright white colour of the calcite. A couple of small abrasions here and there, nothing that sticks out.
