Good rich, colorful specimen of the rare uranium mineral Schröckingerite on rhyolite matrix from a classic and rare locality: Wamsutter, Sweetwater County, Wyoming, USA. Measures ~50,000 CPM on my Ludlum Model 3 Counter with the 44-9 probe. VERY bright fluorescence under UV light. Ex. Chet Lemanski collection. Rare!
