Description

A nice halite specimen of translucent stacked cubes. Under short UV light the crystals get an intense reddish orange colour, with nice phantoms. This fluorescence is typical if Mn2+ replaces Na+ as activator.

Acquired in 24/06/1994 to Jerry Loza. Ex Gustaaf collection #1291, with his handwritten label.
