Incredible specimen of 2 diamond quartz on a little splinter of jurassic septaria. Also called sometimes  Mirabeau diamond in memory of Count Mirabeau, who tried (in XVIIIe) to pay his taxes with that sort of diamond ! The rock is covered by calcite, brown to black because hydrocarbone. Escorted by minor white calcite. It is the same material than at Remuzat, in the same quality (sometimes bigger crystals at Remuzat). Very unusual and perfect, front and back.
